Leake Auction Company will offer a one of a kind Harley-Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider during their fall auction, November 18, 19 and 20 in Dallas Market Hall. The 2001 motorcycle was once owned by Jay Leno. The bike was featured on The Tonight Show and was autographed by numerous celebrities. It will be sold to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The motorcycle features a twin cam 1450cc engine, a 5-speed transmission, custom seat with a tapered passenger pillion, low-rise handlebar and mid-mount foot controls.
When the bike was owned by Jay Leno, celebrities signed it during their appearances on The Tonight Show. He sold the motorcycle to benefit the Twin Towers fund. This fund was established to provide educational and welfare assistance to children who lost a parent in the 9/11 attacks.
Numerous celebrities have signed the motorcycle including: Jay Leno, Tom Cruise, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Cuba Gooding Jr., David Spade, Rodney Dangerfield, Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek and many more. The bike will sell without reserve and the proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Their mission is to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric diseases through research and treatment.
