Leake Auction Company just consigned a 1941 Cadillac 62 Convertible Sedan to their Tulsa auction, June 10, 11 and 12 in the River Spirit Expo. Because of its
346 CID L-head V-8 engine and a smooth 3-speed manual transmission, this Cadillac is the ultimate tour car for Classic Car Club of American (CCCA) events. The independent front suspension has coil springs, plus the rear semi-elliptic leaf springs ride on a 126 inch wheelbase, supplying a smooth and stable ride. It is a certified CCCA car.
Owned by the Lindburg Family of St. Louis for 50 years, this Cadillac was displayed on the showroom floor of Lindburg Cadillac dealership. When the family decided to sell their beloved Cadillac, Robert Pass added it to his personal collection. Upon receiving the car, Mr. Pass noticed that the radio stations were still pre-set to those of the 1960s.
“I admired this car for many years while it was on display in the Lindburg Cadillac dealership,” said Robert Pass, the current owner of the Cadillac. “This car has been wonderful on various car cruises and outings. The maroon paint is in fantastic condition. I did replace the black Hartz cloth top added new wide white radial tires for safe driving.”
