Tulsa, OK (February 24, 2011) –The Leake Collector Car Show & Auction just concluded an exceptional auction this past weekend, posting over $3 million in sales and selling 71 percent. The auction was held on the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds, February 18-19. The top selling car was a 1966 Corvette, selling for $78,100 with the buyer’s premium.
Other top selling cars were: a 1929 Auburn 8-90 for $71,500, a 1967 Ford Mustang for $63,800, a 1930 Lincoln Model L for $63,250 – all with the buyer’s premium included.
Car enthusiasts lined up early and filled every seat to see a unique collection of cars, including Cadillacs, Corvettes, Camaros, Street Rods, Mustangs and other vintage, collector, muscle, high-performance and specialty vehicles. A total of 208 lots were sold during the two-day auction.
