Dallas Fall 2000 Auction

WYNONNA JUDD'S 1952 CADILLAC, DUKES OF HAZZARD'S "GENERAL LEE" AND THE "BATCYCLE" TAKE CENTER STAGE AT 28TH ANNUAL DALLAS COLLECTOR CAR AUCTION

Several Celebrity Cars Along with Some of the World's Finest Classics Up for Auction and Display at Texas' Largest Collector Car Auction & Car Show - November 17 - 19, 2000

Dallas, TX (October, 2000) - Kruse International, the world's largest collector car sales company, along with Leake Auction, will offer 500 collector cars during its three-day sale including several celebrity vehicles. The event is Texas' largest collector car auction and will include some of the world's rarest collector cars. The Auction will be held at Market Hall in Dallas, Texas from November 17-19.

This year's event will feature several "celebrities" including a 1952 Black Cadillac Series 62 Convertible formerly owned by Wynonna Judd, the Batcycle with Robin's side car from the TV series Batman and Robin and the "General Lee" from the popular 70's television series the Dukes of Hazzard.

Cars up for auction and show include classics such as Duesenbergs, Packards, and Rolls Royces as well as a wide variety of muscle cars, sports cars, customs, street rods and pick-up trucks. Some of the rare automobiles available for auction and show include: a 1929 Bentley 4.5 liter Van Den Plas Tourer; a 1970 blue Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Coupe and a 1971 yellow Detomaso Pantera. A 1933 Alloway Speedstar featured on the recent cover of Southern Rodder, as well as a winner at Pigeon Forge Street Rod Show will also be a highlight of the auction.

"This auction is definitely one of the most popular events in Dallas among car enthusiasts," states Kruse/eBay Regional Manager, Richard Sevenoaks. "With the celebrity vehicles up for auction and display along with the hundreds of classics, there should be something for everyone."

The Dallas Market Hall is located at 2200 Stemmons Freeway. Auction bidders fee is $40 and includes two admission tickets. General admission tickets are available for $8 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and $3 for children under 12. Auction hours are 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Friday, November 17, and 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. for Saturday and Sunday.
