The auction weekend kicked off with a special party for bidders and consignors. Gas Monkey Garage rolled out the red carpet Thursday evening, allowing attendees an exclusive tour of their garage and the opportunity to mingle with some of the Gas Monkey Garage mechanics. Saddle Tramps provided a delicious BBQ dinner. The festivities continued during the auction on Friday when seven motorcycles and four vehicles belonging to Richard Rawlings crossed the auction block. Discovery’s film crew captured footage for an upcoming episode of Fast N’ Loud.
“We had a great auction,” stated Richard Sevenoaks, president of Leake Auction Company. “Bidding was vigorous throughout the weekend and we saw many bidding wars on Sunday as 120 No Reserve vehicles crossed the block. We sold out of numbers for this auction in October, therefore we have extended our Oklahoma City auction in February to three days.”
